W3C  is a link validation tool which provides web developers the ability to review issues with links, anchors, and, referenced objects to a site. The online tool allows a user to enter the URL for a website and choose from a series of options in regard to the return of those results, such as choosing a summary report of the links associated with a site or to request that the information be returned as a cookie.

The tool also provides resources for testing HTML and CSS validity.

In addition to utilizing the tool for one’s own sites and projects; we would recommend utilizing the link checker as a tool for clients in regard to work performed by developers for the billing cycle.

The W3C tool was developed with the Mozilla Foundation and relies on Mozilla Foundation Donation Page for a portion of its support. Mozilla also requests a flatter on social, if one is unable to donate.
